Band of Brotherhood --- Hasten to do GOOD...

Assalamu Alaikum WRH Brothers & Sisters,

 Till the world breathes its last, there would surely be a group of people who would never delay an instance to do good and forbid evil. They will be systematic, well educated, and thoroughly professional.  

I happened to come across such a group of brothers who were kind enough to well ahead booked their timings at the ICNA Relief Dallas Food Pantry. They wanted to put into best use, their after Fajr Sunday slumber time, which normally happens in most of the houses on Sunday.  

They were punctual, well organized, understood quickly the mechanics, and started their task. What seems to be humongous task for me, turned out to be a task of ease for them. They unpacked their large amount of food donation of various sort, weighed all the ware house items, organized them according to their types, stacked them neatly.  
 
Amazingly, amidst all these, they were all discussing Deen. Questions were posed, and answers were discussed. And in no time the whole place was well buzzing with activities like sorting, weighing, stacking and finally neatly vacuumed.  

Pray to our beloved creator Allah swt to accept their services rendered in acquiring nothing but pure pleasure of Allah swt. Aameen. 

By the way, today was our  first unofficial opening day of our food pantry. We were able to serve 12 clients (Iraqis, Burmese and Bhutanese) average up to 60 lbs of food to each family. We gave away 720 lbs of food today.

Our official opening day is 03/25/2012. 

One can say, the train just left the station. But don't worry, we will surely accommodate all those who missed the train, soon in near future.  

We do have slots available for volunteer & food donation help, Saturday & Sunday  (10 AM - 2 PM).

Milk (Vitamin D) 2 gallons pack,  
Eggs (12 or 18, in 1 box).
Shaving Cream,  
Shaving Blades,  
Diapers,  
Salt (1 lbs) 
Sugar (1 lbs) 
Cooking Oil (1 gallon/ 0.5 gallon) packs,  
Rice bags (10 lbs)

Pray to our beloved creator Allah swt to protect us, our families and our extended families from all kinds of calamities, diseases, problems. Aameen.

Make us feel content with whatever He with His utmost grace has bestowed upon us. Aameen.   

Give barakah in our sustenance,  
Resolve all our problems we are facing,  
Unite our hearts,  
Melt away all our differences,
Give us strength enough to forgive others &  
Carry on the good work. Aameen.
